Basketball For Good

Basketball For Good projects offer youth programs that enhance education, health, well-being, and combat injustice and inequality through basketball. The Foundation is supporting five projects led by the FIBA Foundation and implemented by its local partners.  In Ghana, youth are empowered with basketball, skills training, and environmental advocacy. In Kenya, basketball skills and drills are taught to improve social-emotional learning and employment abilities. Namibia's after-school program focuses on education, life skills, and basketball for underprivileged children in Katutura. In Guinea, educational opportunities are provided for deserving young girls in Conakry. In Tanzania, hoops and infrastructure are installed in Dar es Salaam to promote basketball and support sustainable community growth.

Founded in 2008, the FIBA Foundation is Swiss Foundation. It is the social and legacy arm of FIBA, using the power of basketball to initiate positive social change, and acting as the global custodian of basketball’s Cultural Heritage.
