Meet Dominic Rono

CHASE Africa funded project with TMT for the past 3 years. He acknowledges the project efforts in supporting communities with limited access to healthcare and information on reproductive health.

"For the last three years, health projects have reached many people and have significantly impacted their lives. Communities are now more aware and sensitised to issues such as FGM, early pregnancies, early marriages, and gender-based violence due to the project's introduction, leading to significant impact. There has been an increase in the uptake of healthcare services in our facility. Additionally, women are more informed on reproductive health and they are now able to make informed decisions when they are coming for family planning." Says Dominic.

"I have personally benefited from the capacity-building conducted in 2022. I have learned about youth sexual reproductive health and am now confident enough to address all the issues affecting the youth. At my facility, there has been an increase in the uptake of reproductive health services for the last year. I am grateful to the Maa Trust, CHASE Africa and Addax and Oryx for the exceptional work that they are doing to provide qualityhealthcare services and information awareness."
