The Addax and Oryx Foundation granted funding for three new projects at its September Board meeting.
The association FXB International will receive funding for a project in Uganda aiming to enable 80 vulnerable and HIV affected families to achieve sustainable economic and social self-sufficiency.
The Tuwapende Watoto Foundation will receive funding for a Vocational Education and Training Centre. The project includes the construction of the first two three-classroom blocks and providing baking and tailoring vocational training courses for over 50 students.
The Ugandan association Nurture Africa Uganda was also granted funding for a project aiming to economically empower 700 HIV-infected women and their families, in order for them to lead fuller and more independent lives.
