In Niger, responding to the need for humanitarian assistance for pastoral communities living in remote areas of the country, SCF and ESAFRO staff provided health care to communities for whom accessibility to medical centers was difficult, reaching 1,614 direct beneficiaries, with over 50% of women. This was also an opportunity for SCF staff to engage with the population to raise awareness about the protection of existing biodiversity in the reserves.

The project led by CREATE!  sustainably improved the health, nutrition and livelihoods of the communities of Ndiagne Kahone and Keur Ndiouga thanks to climate smart technology. Over the past four years, the project significantly enhanced the lives of 1,700 men, women, and children within these communities.

Railway Children Africa empowered 35, at-risk and street-connected girls and young women with the tools they needed to secure a sustainable income, enabling them to reach self-sufficiency and autonomy, underlining the positive impact this initiative has had on their lives.
